Our team is comprised mostly of specially selected Senior level engineers, with an impressive wealth of experience between them.

Wayne Smith

Director

Wayne is a Senior Mechanical Engineer with over 30 years of experience in the consulting engineering sector. Wayne was previously employed at ALA Consulting Engineers where for 18 years he managed the mechanical engineering sector and construction supervision sections and was a key Project Leader on many of the major projects undertaken by that office.

Wayne has had the experience with a wide range of commercial projects inclusive of mixed use and high rise residential, hotel accommodation, aged care facilities, office, retail developments and fit outs, community centers and schools.

Wayne also has extensive experience with builders, including Multiplex, Probuild and Built during the construction phase of many projects to ensure that the client’s requirements and expectations are achieved. Wayne also has a good understanding of all buildings services and has experience in vertical transportation.



Shaun Marrinon

Director

Shaun is a Senior Electrical Engineer with over 14 years of experience in the consulting engineering sector. Shaun was previously employed at ALA Consulting Engineers and Lucid Consulting where he was a key Project Leader on many of the major projects undertaken by those offices.

Shaun has experience with the design and documentation of a diverse range of projects, where his ability to Project Lead and design from initial schematic design to completion of construction phase is outstanding. Shaun prides himself on his ability to analyse complex engineering problems and provide suitable recommendations/design solutions to suit the client.

Shaun has had the experience with a wide range of commercial projects inclusive of mixed use and high rise residential, hotel accommodation, aged care facilities, office, retail developments and fitouts, community centres and schools

Matthew Kozlowski

Senior Engineer

Matthew is a Senior Mechanical Engineer with 16 years of experience within the consulting engineering sector and 5 years’ experience as a Building Designer.

Matthew was previously employed at JBA Consulting Engineers where he was a key Project Leader on many of the projects undertaken by that office and a team leader to the younger graduate engineers.

Matthew’s previous employment diversity of working as a Building Designer, Structural/Civil documenter and now within the Building Services Engineering has provided him a skill set to understand many building/engineering facets and appreciates the project challenges and resolution in today’s engineering world.

Matthew has had the experience with a wide range of residential and commercial projects inclusive of mixed use and low/medium/high rise residential, hotel, student accommodation, aged care facilities, office, retail developments and fitouts, industrial, community centres, university and schools.

Matthew has extensive experience from concept / schematic design stages through to construction completion.

Ian Logan

Senior Hydraulics Engineer

Ian is a Senior Hydraulics Engineer with 45 years’ experience working on a varied range of government and commercial projects in the retail, community, residential and aged care facilities.

Ian worked in the Victorian Public Works Department and Ministry of Housing for 20 years involved with the design and documentation of schools, colleges, police and corrections facilities, public housing, etc.

Ian previously worked at ALA Consulting Engineers for 22 years involved in the design and documentation of commercial and retail facilities, education, community and residential developments. His role at ALA Consulting Engineers included Section Leader, Project Leader and Hydraulics services designer. The work also included site inspections and reports.

Ian worked at JBA Consulting Engineers for 3 years involved in the design of commercial, retail facilities, education, community, hotel and residential developments. His role at JBA Consulting Engineers was as Section Leader for the Hydraulic Services team which included the programming and allocation of the work load, reviewing preliminary and final designs, writing specifications and peer reviews.

Eduard Nrekic

Senior Hydraulic Engineer

Eduard is a Senior Hydraulic Engineer with over 11 years of experience in the consulting engineering sector. Eduard was previously employed at ALA Consulting Engineers, Lucid Consulting Engineers and JBA Consulting Engineers where his roles included Section Leader, Project Leader, Construction Administrator and Hydraulics Engineer.

Eduard has extensive experience in Hydraulic and Fire Services with major high-rise and multi-use residential developments along with hotel accommodation, education, aged care facilities, healthcare, commercial office, retail developments, fit outs, community centres and ESD type projects.

Eduard has procured experience with various building services disciplines as a project leader and construction administrator from initial schematic design development phases to the completion of the construction phase.
Eduard can investigate and evaluate complex engineering co-ordination issues and recommend solutions. His determined and hardworking attitude results an excellent standard of project deliver, in a timely manner and to the client’s expectations.
